Can we add HTML tags into the description of the product?

We do not suggest adding HTML tags into a products description. The HTML tags are stripped from the description automatically on the catalog page as it may cause styling issues (for example, a very large image).nnIn order to have HTML tags, we suggest creating custom fields of type “Short text”, which can hold tags. You may also choose to display them within the three catalog views (thumbnails, details and list view), as well as in the product page.
